SybaWebSplitter

The SybaWebSplitter is a testament to Sybaweb’s commitment to developing innovative, client-driven solutions.

SybawebSplitter delivers what have become our trademarks: measurable value and excellence in service delivery. In this case, the benefit of low-cost, local bandwidth is delivered by SybaWebSplitter's ability to differentiate between the use of local and international traffic.

Why split traffic?
Local bandwidth is significantly less expensive than international bandwidth. It would therefore be preferable for companies to utilise local bandwidth for local web browsing and email SybaWebSplitter(hosted on local mail servers), while saving international bandwidth for international web browsing purposes.

The current standard supply model does not allow for local bandwidth to be used as and when required. Consumers are instead required to use up their monthly quota of international bandwidth before they can access local bandwidth. The end result is that companies are being charged for expensive international bandwidth across the board.

SybaWebSplitter puts an end to this unfair practice. It automatically differentiates between local and international traffic, thereby enabling you to use the cheaper local bandwidth throughout the month, minimising the use of international bandwidth and saving on monthly usage costs.

Who needs it?
Any bandwidth intensive user or network (e.g. utilising local email, FTP, VPN traffic and / or online software applications), using more than 15GB of international bandwidth per month will benefit from the SybaWebSplitter.

How does it work?
The SybaWebSplitter routes local and international traffic through separate local and international bandwidth profiles. SybaWebSplitter is seamless and easy to implement. Sybaweb is usually able to install and configure the solution remotely in a matter of hours. Where customers use an inbound service, such as a VPN, or require other more complex configurations, Sybaweb will install the solution on site.

Once activated, your SybaWebSplitter will be managed remotely by Sybaweb.
